BFI Flooring - Hardwood
From design to selection to installation.
Reviewing the needs of our clients to showcase your room, business or commercial space.
More stable solid hardwood, bamboo or engineered hardwood is best for glue-down flooring. There is a difference in using thin, narrow planks versus thicker, wider planks. Various widths make glue application more challenging and planks may not be perfectly straight. Engineered floor products have straighter boards and make gluing easier and more stable. This is also a better choice over concrete.
Our installers follow closely the adhesive labeling instructions and the flooring products installation instructions, and advisories pertaining to moisture. If you are required to test for concrete moisture or to use moisture barriers with a particular adhesive, BFI has capability to conduct a 3 day sensor check.
We work to protect you from installation failure and product damage.
